Cooking method:

• Stir fry and grind Black sesame

• Add water, rice, goji berry and black sesame, cook together


Black sesame seeds are an especially rich source of macrominerals and trace minerals.

A higher intake of macrominerals like calcium and magnesium is associated with improved heart disease risk factors, particularly high blood pressure.

Some of the trace minerals in black sesame seeds, such as iron, copper, and manganese, are important for regulating metabolism, cell functioning, and immune system, as well as the circulation of oxygen throughout body.

Black sesame are also a good source of healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats which can help to lower the risk of heart disease.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Black sesame have sweet and neutral properties, and are associated with the Kidney, Liver and Large Intestine meridians. It can nourish Liver and kidney; tonify blood and essence; and moisturize the Zang-organs.

Black sesame congee can nourish the Liver and Kidney, moisturize the Zang-organs, and is suitable for insufficient milk supply in breastfeeding, emaciation, constipation, and premature greying of hair. It is good for five Zang-organs deficiency, chronic constipation, senile arteriosclerosis, dry cough. It can also moisturize the skin and is a tonic for skin care.




黑芝麻 30g;枸杞子 10g;粳米 100g。

• 黑芝麻炒熟研末备用

• 粳米洗净与黑芝麻、枸杞入锅同煮。
